NIRI offers a Career Transition program to assist members who are between jobs or whose careers have been temporarily interrupted. Under this program, national dues for existing members are suspended for one year while the individual continues to receive all the benefits of national membership, including access to the Career Center, salary survey, e-learning and networking opportunities. NIRI Chicago honors this program and extends chapter membership at no charge for the same time period.
